At 10,00am you meet our tour leader for a welcome meeting and receive a first briefing about what lies ahead. You leave the Hotel for the tranquillity of the Campania Felix countryside. Travel by private bus to the undiscovered Sannio discovering an off the beaten path village: S. Agata de’ Goti, the New York Mayor Bill De Blasio’s ancestral home in Italy.
You will be fascinated by this village built on a rock cliff above a river. Here you taste the local Annurca apple, a very ancient variety developping in a typical mediterranean climate. It does not ripen on the tree: apples are harvested when still immature and are then laid on straw beds where they reach maturation and their peculiar reddish hue. The annurca apple requires light, space and an added human touch. For this reason they are more expensive than other varieties, but they are really delicious.
After lunch you reach Benevento for a brief city walk. Here the famous “Liquore Strega” (witch liquor) is produced in an ancient factory according to a natural recipe dated hundreds of years old.
Return to your charming accommodation for a relaxing time before enjoying your dinner.

Let yourself be surprised by the emotions of our barrel cellar, where the great reds rest in precious oak barrels, tasting our wines in the crystal rom suspended within.
