Arrival on your own in Agropoli. From Naples you can easily take a direct train to Agropoli. (Private transfer from Naples on request).

Today you experience a mozzarella tasting at “ Tenuta Vannulo”, a water buffalo dairy that produces organic, raw–milk cheeses from its own herd of water buffaloes. The dairy offers gelato al latte di bufala, a delicious ice cream made from water buffalo milk.
Then you visit one of the most precious archaeological gems of Italy, in The three Doric temples from the V century BC, among the best preserved of all of antiquity, are the marvels of this Archaeological Park, as they stand majestically on the plains in front of the sea: the Temple of Neptune, the Basilica and the temple of Ceres. After the archaeological visit transfer to the accommodation located on the Cilento Coast and time to relax on the beach of the village. Today we enjoy a lovely tour in the Cilento National Park visiting local producers of unique food specialties which are results of ancient Arab, Greek and Spanish influences.
Cilento is the heartland of agriculture and famous throughout Italy for its produces. We enjoy an oil olive & wine tasting in a small local farms.
The journey continues with a lovely visit of Acciaroli, famous for Hemingway’s visit in 1952. It is here that Ancel Keys, the American researcher from Minnesota University lived for about forty years, carrying out fundamental studies on human diet and sharing the typical Cilento daily life. The nutritional model in which Prof. Keys, the ultra centenarian who died just recently, discovered extraordinary healthy properties is the one traditionally followed in the Cilento area. Oil olive, tomatoes, vegetables, the base of the Mediterranean diet, were once the simplest products to grow and harvest. With time the healthy benefits were discovered.Return to the Hotel by private transfer.
